As meditation has become more well-known in the West, scientists have begun to quantify its physical benefits in hundreds of studies.

Significant benefits have been found for many health conditions, including heart disease, cholesterol, high blood pressure, insomnia, chronic pain, cancer, and immunity. It is also know to be as effective as antidepressants in treating depression and anxiety.
This is an introductory meditation course to give insight to what is meditation, the benefits and the different types of meditation. In addition we will also be focusing on mindfulness and how to bring this into your daily life.

This course provides an opportunity to begin to create a regular practise and enjoy the benefits of meditation.
